CP offers journeys to rediscover the Beira Alta Line

10 thousand vouchers will be distributed next week

To encourage the use of rail transport, promoting sustainable mobility, winning back regular customers, and attracting new users, CP – Comboios de Portugal (Trains of Portugal) will offer 10 thousand vouchers for free travel on the Beira Alta Line, which fully reopened at the end of September this year after modernisation works.

The distribution will take place next week, between 17 and 22 November, in various locations in Guarda, Santa Comba Dão, and Mortágua, and the vouchers can be exchanged for tickets until 31 December 2025.

Each voucher is valid for any route between the stations of Vilar Formoso and Coimbra-B, on the Beira Alta Line, both on the Regional and the Intercidades (Intercity) (2nd class) services.

CP will take advantage of this campaign to remind train users that all services on the Beira Alta Line are valid with the Passe Ferroviário Verde (Green Rail Pass), which makes the price more attractive.
