Modernisation of the Cascais Line
The movement of CP trains on the Cascais line is prohibited at certain times on the Cascais - Oeiras section due to modernisation work.
The work to modernise the Cascais Line will improve mobility and access conditions for passengers:
- New signalling and speed control system;
- Public information and video surveillance systems;
- Remodelling of various stations and platforms.
To access the buses that run the replacement bus service between Cascais and Oeiras stations, you must purchase your ticket in advance.
Validate your ticket at the validators when you board the replacement buses.
All passes and tickets must be validated.
CP Services: Lisbon urban trains
From 23 March, the Cascais line train times will be temporarily readjusted to reduce the impact caused by the modernisation works on the line and the works on the Circular Line at Cais do Sodré.
