Vouga historical train
The Vouga historical train runs between Aveiro and Macinhata do Vouga
Let yourself be taken back in time, on this journey along the only narrow gauge line in operation in our country on one of the five carriages from the early years of the 20th century, drawn by the historic 9004 diesel locomotive.
The Vouga Historical Train takes you from Aveiro to Macinhata do Vouga, where you can visit the Macinhata do Vouga Railway Museum.

One-day programme
Departure
- Depart from Aveiro at 13h45 and arrive in Macinhata do Vouga at 14h59;
- Visit to the Macinhata do Vouga Railway Museum.
Return
- Leave Macinhata do Vouga at 16h40;
- Stop for approximately 2h20 in Águeda, to visit the streets of the city, where you can see the various urban art exhibitions that make up Agit'Agueda and multiple initiatives throughout the city;
- Leave from Águeda at 19.20 and arrive back in Aveiro at 20.07.
