It's a pass valid on CP for residents in Portugal, which allows them to travel on Regional, InterRegional (2nd class), Lisbon Urban and Porto Urban trains (on routes not covered by metropolitan intermodal passes), Coimbra Urban and Intercidades trains (in 2nd class and with advance and compulsory seat reservation).

This 30-day pass costs €20 and can also be purchased for 60 and 90 days for €40 and €60 respectively.

This Pass can be purchased on any day of the month and can be valid for 30, 60 or 90 consecutive days.

With this Pass, you can travel on any route on the Coimbra Regional and Urban trains and in 2nd class on the InterRegional and Intercidades trains.

On Lisbon urban trains, you can travel on the route outside the metropolitan area (Carregado/Azambuja).

On Porto urban trains, you can travel on routes outside the metropolitan area (Vila das Aves/Guimarães; Paredes/Marco de Canaveses; Paramos/Aveiro and Lousado/Braga).

On Intercidades services, you can travel in 2nd class, with advance and compulsory seat reservation.

It is not valid on the Alfa Pendular or International Celta services or in first class on the Intercidades and InterRegional services.

This Pass is loaded onto the CP card. If you don't have this card, you should get one.

With this Pass, you can travel in 2nd class, but you must book a seat in advance.

Booking a seat for your journey is free of charge.

Only one reservation is allowed for the same train/day.

Each seat reservation must be made no more than 24 hours in advance.

You can book a seat for two different journeys per day. If two bookings are used on the same day, the daily limit of journeys (two) is exhausted.

Seat reservations can be made at the Online Ticket Office, App CPCP ticket offices, and the new Automatic Vending Machines installed at stations in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.

Booking a journey on the Intercidades will soon be available on the CP APP.

You must book a seat no more than 24 hours in advance.

You can only book journeys within the validity period of the Pass.

No. If you don't make a reservation for the Intercidades train, you are considered a customer without a ticket and subject to a fine.

A seat reservation cannot be changed to another day/time but can be cancelled. If you can't make the journey, you must cancel it up to 15 minutes before the train departs from the station of origin entered on the reservation to make the seat available for other customers.

It will not be counted towards the two bookings available per day.

No, the Green Rail Pass can be loaded onto the CP Card that has already been issued as long as it is valid.

The Pass can be topped up at CP ticket offices and the new Automatic Vending Machines installed at stations in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.

The Green Rail Pass cannot be exchanged or refunded. If a train cancellation or requests for reimbursement and compensation for delays for reasons attributable to CP, please refer to the conditions in force for CP passes and subscriptions.

Yes, the Green Rail Pass replaces the PFN, extending its use to other services.

This Pass cannot be combined with other discounts.

It is not permitted to pay the difference in value for another train of a different category or to change from 2nd to 1st class on Intercidades and InterRegional services.

No. The holder of a Pass that has not been loaded is considered a customer without a ticket, subject to a fine.
