The Navegante® card is a personal, non-transferable card that allows you to top up each operator's own monthly, multimodal and combined tickets.
It can also be used in some car and bicycle parks.
Modalities: Normal, Young free, 3rd Age (Navegante + 65), Retired/Pensioner, Social+, Former Combatant.
The navegante APP allows you to top up passes and consult the contents of the navegante® card, and is available on the iOS and Android stores.

Since 1 August 2024, the new navegante® online store has allowed passengers to purchase their navegante® card and request home delivery, so they no longer have to go and collect it.
How does it work?
Easy access: https://loja.navegante.pt/
Choose the card: opt for the usual style or the 5-year anniversary edition.
Simple form: Fill in a short form.
Upload the required documents and a photograph to the personalised card (45mm x 35mm).
Quick payment: pay by MB WAY or credit card.
The card will be delivered to your address within 7 working days.
Topping up the card monthly is simple via the navegante® App, eliminating the need for additional journeys.

Complete the Navegante Família application form and submit the necessary documents for yourself and your household members.

The navegante® App provides the function to activate access to free travel for young people up to the age of 23, so you no longer need to top up your pass every month.
The VIVA GO service is an innovative transport payment solution that combines a Navegante card with a post-payment method via a bank account.
To access this service, go to an ATM and link your Navegante card to your bank card. Then, select the VIVA GO option, available in the "transport" menu.
The VIVA GO service can be used on the CP, Carris, Fertagus, Metropolitano de Lisboa, Metro Sul do Tejo, Soflusa, and Trantejo and allows you to pay for journeys as you go. On CP, each journey costs €2.00.
Before boarding, you should always validate your Navigator Card at the stations' equipment (validators or access control ports).

How to get free access?
When using the card for the first time, the holder of the Navegante® card, previously loaded with a valid pass, must go to the booth in each car park where they want to park to register their card in the system by filling in a form.
You only need to fill in the form once.
How to renew access?
At the beginning of each month, you must renew your right to free access to the Navegante® car park and prove that you have a valid pass for the month in question. To do this, you must go to the booth in each of the car parks where you want to park to validate your monthly top-up.
How can I prove that I have the pass loaded?
The user must download the navegante® App and scan the card, proving they have a valid ticket for that month.
Timetable
Users of the navegante® Card who have a valid navegante® pass can stay free of charge in the referenced car parks seven days a week between 7.30 a.m. and 9 p.m. Outside this period, the standard rate will be charged.

The Navegante card has a 2-year guarantee from the date of issue against electrical faults and manufacturing defects.
