Coimbra Urban, Regional, InterRegional and Vouga line passes

Discover the benefits of passes for those who travel every day.

What are they?

Passes are tickets valid for an unlimited number of journeys on the Coimbra Urban, Regional and InterRegional trains and the Valença-PortoCoimbra-B/Figueira da Foz line.

They are available for one calendar month, on sale from the 21st of the previous month from CP ticket offices.

Andante Passes are valid on the Vouga Line between Espinho (Vouga) and Pinheiro da Bemposta (Oliveira de Azeméis) and can be topped up at CP ticket offices with Andante sales, mticker vending machines and Payshop agents.

Andante passes - valid on the Vouga Line between Espinho (Vouga) and Pinheiro da Bemposta (Oliveira de Azeméis)

Andante 3Z/Municipal

The Andante 3Z/Municipal Pass is valid for a series of zones (up to 3 zones) or municipality, allowing you to travel during the month for which it is purchased.

These passes are valid on the following routes and trains:

Porto São Bento «» Paredes (Porto Regional, InterRegional and Urban Trains)
Porto São Bento «» Vila das Aves (Porto Regional, InterRegional and Urban Trains)

Espinho (Vouga) «» Pinheiro da Bemposta (Regional Trains)

The Pass can be topped up at Andante shops, CP ticket offices with Andante sales, Payshop agents, the airport tourist office and terminals of private bus operators and at vending machines at stations in the Porto Metropolitan Area.

Andante Metropolitano

The Andante Metropolitano Pass is valid throughout the Porto Metropolitan Area and allows you to travel during the month for which it is purchased.

These passes are valid on the following routes and trains:

Andante Família - Porto Metropolitan Area

The Andante Family Pass is exclusive to households (minimum 3 members) with the same tax residence in one of the 17 municipalities in the Porto metropolitan area and is valid monthly, i.e. from the first to the last day of the month for which it was purchased.

Allocated to each member of the household, it allows each family to pay the equivalent of 2 Andante 3Z / Municipal passes - €60 or the equivalent of 2 Andante Metropolitano passes - 80 €.

To take advantage of the Family Andante Pass, all household members (responsible applicant and other beneficiaries) must be holders of the silver Andante card; the Silver Student card (free pass for young students under 18 and students under 23) is not accepted. All household members must carry the same type of pass.

You can sign up at Andante shops, CP ticket offices with Andante sales and Andante points of sale in the municipalities, by filling in the application form and handing in the necessary documents.

The pass is topped up monthly and sold from the 25th.

The Andante Family Profile is awarded to the entire household for a period of 12 months, after which they will have to prove they are a beneficiary again.
