Cascais Line

Changes to train service and replacement bus service

From 20 February, Cascais Line trains will return to their normal timetable, prior to the changes resulting from the poor weather conditions and in effect since 12 May 2025.

Due to engineering works, the route between Cascais and Oeiras is provided by a replacement bus service, stopping at Monte Estoril, Estoril, São João do Estoril, São Pedro do Estoril, Parede and Carcavelos stations.

On the Cascais – Cais do Sodré route, bus connections to scheduled trains are not guaranteed, except for the last train of the night.

Bus stops.

When accessing the buses providing the replacement bus service, you must have a valid ticket.

Validate your ticket at the validators located at the entrances to the replacement buses. All passes, season tickets and tickets must be validated.

On the replacement bus service, journey times may vary depending on traffic conditions.

CP buses will be identified and equipped with access ramps for people with reduced mobility.

Bicycles and scooters are not allowed. Small pets are allowed if they are travelling in an appropriate container that can be carried as hand luggage. Group tickets are not accepted on the replacement bus service.
