Youth card discount – European Youth Card (EYC)

If you're between 12 and 30 years old, use your European Youth Card - get 25% off train tickets.

You can enjoy a 25% discount with the Youth Card in any class and on any day of the week when travelling on Intercidades, Regional and InterRegional trains.
Show your Youth Card at the ticket offices and on the trains, together with an official identification document.
These tickets can be exchanged or refunded.
This discount cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or special offers. Intercidades prices rounded up to the nearest 50 cents.

The Youth Card is valid for individuals between the ages of 12 and 30, inclusive, and grants a 25% discount that cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions currently in effect. Intercidades prices are rounded up to the nearest 50 cents.

To take advantage of the discount, present the valid youth card along with an official identification document at the ticket office and in transit.

Scans/photos or simple photocopies of the official identification document are not accepted, unless duly authenticated by Parish Councils, CTT - Correios de Portugal, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Lawyers or Solicitors.

Documents presented on the id.gov.pt App are also accepted as official. For verification, the Customer must provide CP staff with access to the device, and the necessary electronic means must be available on-site, specifically that the device has internet access.

These tickets can be exchanged or refunded.
