Due to the strike, between 28 March and 2 May 2025, some train disruption is expected, especially on the Intercidades and Beja and Algarve Line Regional services.
Passengers who have purchased tickets to travel on Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, International, InterRegional and Regional trains, will get a refund the full value of the ticket purchased or they can exchange it free of charge for another train in the same category and class.
Refunds or exchanges can be made at myCP in the ‘Your tickets’ area (for tickets purchased from the Online Ticket Office and CP App) up to 15 minutes before the train departs from the customer's station of origin, or at the ticket offices.
After this deadline, and up to 10 days after the end of the strike, a refund can be requested by filling in the online contact form ‘Refund for Delay or Cancellation’ and sending a scan of the ticket.
