Strike - Disturbance to train services - 24 October to 3 November 2024

A strike called between 24 October and 3 November 2024, means we expect the following impact:

28, 29 and 30 October

Disruptions are expected on the Regional | InterRegional, Coimbra Urban and Porto Urban services .

31 October

Severe disruption is expected on all services (Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Regional | InterRegional, Urbanos and Internacional Celta) on 31 October and some disruption the following day.

On the remaining days there may be occasional disruption, particularly on the Lisbon Urban and Lisbon > Algarve Intercidades services .

If minimum services are defined, this information will be updated.

Customers who have already purchased tickets to travel on Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, International, InterRegional and Regional trains will be given a full refund or they can exchange their tickets free of charge for another train in the same category and class.

Refunds or exchanges can be made at myCP in the ‘Your tickets’ area (for tickets purchased from the Online Ticket Office and CP App) up to 15 minutes before the train departs from the customer's station of origin, or at the ticket offices.

After this deadline, and up to 10 days after the end of the strike, a refund can be requested by filling in the  Refund for Delay or Cancellation online contact form and sending a scan of the ticket.
