Maintenance Technician - Entroncamento

General duties:

  • Install, test, maintain and repair various types of electrical installations and circuits and their components;
  • Maintain, repair, adjust, install and test electrical, electronic, electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and components, rotating electrical machines, thermal engines and other mechanical, electrical and electromechanical assemblies;
  • Regulate, adjust, operate and handle tools, machine tools and, in general, all industrial equipment;
  • Transform or prepare raw materials for specific purposes, including fine-tuning, assembling, repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical or electronic installations or equipment;
  • Perform or assist in the washing, lubrication and maintenance of railway vehicles, their systems, equipment and components.

Application requirements:

  • Minimum compulsory education: 12th grade;
    or
  • Vocational training in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electronics (level 4), equivalent to 12th grade.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge in the field of mechanics, electronics, electromechanics or pneumatics;
  • Knowledge in the area of equipment maintenance or repair (preferably with experience).

Personal Skills:

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • High sense of responsibility.

The selection process includes a behavioural interview and a technical knowledge interview.
Final selection is subject to physical fitness assessment through a medical examination.
