CP celebrates World Environment Day

CP reinforced its commitment to sustainable management on 5 June - World Environment Day. It highlighted its environmental area, where it strives every day to reduce its ecological footprint, sending a clear signal of change to its customers, suppliers and employees.
CP marked this date with its workers valuing their contribution to CP's good environmental performance, offering each one a seed card so they could get involved and participate in celebrating Environment Day.
Alongside this action, a tree was planted in the garden of the Company's headquarters (Rossio), initiating a reforestation action, with the planting of 279 trees, involving its corporate volunteering team, contributing to the reforestation of burnt areas in Portugal and its commitment of preserving Biodiversity.
