Aimed at attracting ideas, capturing trends, and encouraging the generation and implementation of innovation, the innovation strategy is based on four pillars:

Innovation Scoring
CP uses Innovation Scoring® from COTEC Portugal as a strategic tool for diagnosing and continuously improving its innovation processes.
Based on a scale of 0 to 1000 points, the system evaluates five key dimensions: strategy, organization, R&D&I processes (Research, Development, and Innovation), enablers, and impact. With a comprehensive and detailed approach, this methodology allows CP to identify priority areas and systematize innovation initiatives across all areas of the organization.
In 2024, CP achieved an overall score of 566.25.
This result represents a significant increase of 82.5 points compared with the previous year and shows that CP is continuing the growth observed over the last five years.
