Cascais Line - 18 July

Changes to train service

Since 6 April, as progress on the railway infrastructure modernisation project has advanced, work has focused on the section between Caxias and Cascais.

During periods of total rail traffic closure, we provide a replacement bus service that stops at Cascais, Monte do Estoril, Estoril, S. João do Estoril, S. Pedro do Estoril, Parede, Carcavelos, Oeiras, Santo Amaro, Paço de Arcos and Caxias.

This service runs from Monday to Friday from 9:50 p.m., on Saturdays from 8:50 p.m., and on Sundays between 5:30 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. and from 7:50 p.m.

At all other times, train services will run as usual.

To meet the transport needs of those attending the Anitta concert, modernisation works on the Cascais Line will be lifted on 18 July, as will the associated replacement bus service; trains will run as scheduled, and special trains will also be provided to make journeys easier.

These works will resume on Monday, 13 July, from 9.50 pm, as will the associated replacement bus service.
