Embark on a journey into the past aboard the Templar Historic Steam Train, travelling between Entroncamento and Tomar on 7 and 8 November.

To the sound of the locomotive’s whistle and the rhythm of the historic wooden coaches, relive the charm and nostalgia of railway journeys of yesteryear. A unique experience that combines the magic of steam, railway heritage and Templar history.

There will be four journeys each day: two between Entroncamento and Tomar and two back again.

The Templar-inspired entertainment, available on board every journey, offers an immersive experience, transporting passengers into the historical and legendary world of the Knights Templar.

Passengers holding a ticket for the Templar Steam Train on the Entroncamento–Tomar route are invited, upon arrival in Tomar, to discover the history and heritage of the Knights Templar through a free guided tour to the points of interest in the city's historic center.

For journeys from Tomar to Entroncamento, the Templar Steam Train ticket includes admission to the National Railway Museum, where you can explore the history and national railway heritage.

Admission is valid on the day of travel if you show the ticket during the Museum’s opening hours, which can be found here.

  • Child (4 to 12): €13.00.

  • Caso as viagens sejam canceladas por iniciativa da CP, os clientes serão reembolsados na totalidade.
