- Passengers are responsible for their hand luggage;
- CP is not liable for damage or theft;
- Dismantled and packed bicycles and scooters are considered hand luggage;
- Passengers are liable for any damage that their luggage may cause to other passengers and/or to CP equipment and facilities.
Passengers can carry one item of hand luggage free of charge, except for hazardous materials and objects, provided that they do not cause inconvenience or damage and that they do not exceed the space corresponding to the seats to which they are entitled in the luggage racks or under the seats. Laptops, handbags and the like are not considered for this purpose.
In the case of Alfa Pendular and Intercidades trains, more luggage than this will be considered excess luggage and subject to a supplementary onboard charge.
Passengers may carry up to three pieces of hand luggage free of charge, except for hazardous materials and objects, provided they do not cause inconvenience or damage. The items must be compatible with the luggage compartments and not exceed 85x55x35 cm. Each item must be clearly and legibly labelled with the passenger's name and address.
