The National Railway Museum offers a 50% discount to CP customers
Individual Travel
If you wish to travel by train to visit the museum, CP offers the following advantages, in addition to the museum discounts:
- Integrated train ticket (AP, IC, IR, REG) + museum admission (voucher).
- Purchase at a CP ticket office;
- Porto and Lisbon urban trains: promotional fare of €3 for a return trip on trains, provided that it is in addition to a long-distance trip (AP, IC, R/IR) to Entroncamento and in conjunction with the voucher for admission to the museum.
- In the case of Lisbon urban trains, the journey must be loaded onto the Navegante Ocasional card and the cost must be borne by the customer if they do not have one.
- Coimbra urban trains: promotional fare of €4 for a return trip, provided that it is in addition to a Long Distance trip (AP, IC, R/IR) to Entroncamento and in conjunction with the voucher for entry to the Museum.

Group Travel
If you wish to organise a group trip, CP offers you advantages, in addition to the museum discounts:
- On Long Distance services, organised groups of 10 or more participants have access to the discounts provided for in the commercial policy applicable to Group travel on Intercidades, Regional and Interregional trains. The age discount to which they are entitled is applied, i.e. 50% for children (4 to 12 years old) and seniors (=/> 65 years old) and 25% for young people (13 to 25 years old), not cumulative with any other discount or promotion in force.
- CP offers a 30% discount to accompanying adults, whether from school groups or non-school groups, which cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion in force, with 1 person entitled to a 30% discount for every 10 people in the group.
- Promotional tickets apply on urban trains, in addition to long-distance travel (IC, R/IR):
- Lisbon: €2 (groups >15),
- Porto: €3 (groups >10)
- Coimbra: 10% discount (groups >10)
