Braga Petting Farm

Ticket for groups travelling by train and bus and guided tour of the Braga Petting Farm.

The Braga Petting Farm is a centre for environmental training and experimentation, which relaunches the discovery of man's connection to nature and knowledge of the Minho traditions, which are based on agriculture.

This former traditional Minho farm, covering around 2.5 hectares, is designed and adapted to complement and support the extracurricular activities of preschool children and primary school pupils, through contact with animals and nature, observation and interaction, through farming activities, livestock, organic gardens, wheat and corn bread making, jam making and traditional sweets.

Braga Petting Farm

Together with Braga Urban Transport (TUB) and Braga City Council, we have created a special ticket for school groups with very attractive conditions:

  • An overall price of €5.90 per group member*, which includes:
    • return journey by urban train between any Porto urban train network station and Braga;
    • return bus journey from Braga train station to the Petting Farm;
    • guided tour of the Petting Farm.
  • Offer of 1 bus journey for every 10 children in the group.

* Minimum of 15 and maximum of 50.

Booking is required with the Porto urban train group service (minimum 3 working days).

These discounts only apply to the regular service - urban trains, as shown in the timetable.
