Sun, beach and Minho

Come with CP to the Minho coast

The journey takes you along the north coast, whether amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life or on quieter days of rest and leisure. Travelling on the Minho Line means discovering destinations that offer a different kind of evening, whether on your own or in the company of those you love most.

The route winds its way through various towns where the lush green landscape, characteristic of the Minho region, blends with the urban scenery and the sandy shores of the beautiful beaches served by the train. An experience that feels like a holiday, with the scent of the sea and unforgettable late afternoons.

The Minho line runs close to part of the Atlantic coast and the banks of the River Minho, meaning that several beaches are just a short distance from the stations. Whether for a dip at beaches such as Moledo, Vila Praia de Âncora, Afife or Cabedelo, or simply to stroll along the sand, a trip to these unmissable spots is always the perfect excuse to take your next train journey and visit picturesque towns.
