Sabor Eco-Trail
This 34-km-long walking and cycling route utilises the old Sabor Line, spanning the section between the north bank of the Douro River in Pocinho and Carviçais. It features public lighting in the urban sections (Moncorvo, Larinho, Carvalhal, and Carviçais) and is equipped with signage and street furniture. The rehabilitation of the built heritage has converted it into support and shelter infrastructure. Between Torre de Moncorvo and Carviçais, the views over the Baixo Sabor valley and the Serra do Reboredo are outstanding, and on the section from Torre de Moncorvo to Pocinho, you can see the Douro Valley. Points of interest include the Douro International Natural Park, the Nascente, the Baixo Sabor Valley (Lagos do Sabor), to the north, the Upper Douro Valley (Alto Douro Vinhateiro, World Heritage Site), to the west, and the Côa Valley (rock engravings), to the south.
