Acquisition of 62 Electric Multiple Units

The Modernisation of CP's Urban Services.

The project consists of the acquisition of 62 Astom electric multiple units to modernise the urban service on the Minho Line, Leixões Line, Cascais Line, and Sintra and Azambuja Lines, under the Climate Action and Sustainability Programme (PACS).

The trainsets will have a normal passenger capacity of 450 passengers (200 seated and 250 standing) and a maximum capacity of 620 passengers (200 seated and 420 standing).

Financial support from Sustentável 2030: €96.866.416,05 (as a funding gap of 96.77% is applied to the total eligible cost, followed by a co-financing rate of 85.00%)
