Senior Technical – General Secretariat

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Technician with increased responsibility for information, document and procedural management of CP’s archives, to ensure the technical quality, procedural security and regulatory consistency of the General Secretariat’s operations.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Support CP’s document, records and information management, including compliance with the Document Management Regulation;
  • Collaborate in defining technical specifications, procedures and best practices applicable to document management and information governance;
  • Ensure the configuration and improvement of the technological platforms supporting document and records management;
  • Provide technical support to organisational units on matters relating to the classification, appraisal, disposal, archiving and access to information;
  • Support the preparation, organisation and monitoring of documentation, processes and general activities of the General Secretariat.

 

Mandatory Requirements

  • A degree in Social Sciences, with a specialisation in Public Administration.

 

Skills

  • Knowledge of national legislation applicable to Public Administration and the State-Owned Enterprise Sector, with a particular focus on information management, access to administrative information, archiving and data protection;
  • Good knowledge of national and European regulations concerning access to, management, preservation and security of information, in both physical and digital formats;
  • Solid knowledge of document and records management, including classification, appraisal, preservation, document disposal and the implementation of best practices and standards in the field;
  • Good knowledge of the implementation, monitoring and improvement of electronic document and records management systems, namely SEGA/SAP DMS or equivalent platforms;
  • Solid knowledge of digitisation processes, administrative streamlining, information governance and digital transformation;
  • Knowledge of information governance policies and models, document traceability, digital preservation and archival compliance;
  • Good knowledge of drafting procedures, manuals, technical guidelines and training in document management and information management;
  • Strong analytical and summarising skills, attention to detail and a critical mindset;
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, rigour in work, priority management and adherence to deadlines;
  • A strong sense of responsibility, commitment and identification with the organisation;
  • Attitudes and behaviours guided by high standards of ethics, rigour and loyalty.
