Lisbon Urban Train Passes

Passes are valid for an unlimited number of journeys on a given CP route during their period of validity.  

If you only want to use the Lisbon urban trains every day, we offer the CP Pass, which can be valid for 1 or 2 zones:

The CP Pass can be purchased any day of the month and is valid for 30 consecutive days from the date of sale or the date chosen for the start of validity (up to 8 days after the date of purchase). 

The top-up receipt must be kept until the end of the pass is no longer valid. 

CP offers 25% off the normal pass price for young people up to the age of 25.  See the conditions here (Link to P17). 

If you wish to travel beyond the limits of your pass, you will need to purchase an excess journey ticket. This can be purchased at the ticket office or vending machines at the station where you start your journey and is automatically validated after purchase. However, passengers must still validate their CP Pass or Monthly Pass at the access channels or validators at the station before boarding the train. 

Validate your ticket every time you travel. All passes and tickets must be validated before boarding. Since 1 October 2015, fines have been imposed in cases where transport tickets are not validated.
