Tagus Race

Take the train to Oeiras.

On 13 September, come and take part in the Tagus Race.

Sign up for the 10-kilometre race, which starts at Algés Station and finishes at Praia da Torre in Oeiras, and enjoy a day of sport and socialising.

Take part in the Tagus  Race, make the most of our discounts and free travel on the Cascais line for participants.

Algés Station is the closest to the event venue.

  • To meet the transport needs of the public and participants in the Tagus Race on Avenida Marginal in Oeiras, we will temporarily suspend modernisation works on the Cascais line on the morning of Sunday 13 September, along with the associated replacement bus service; trains will therefore run according to the regular timetable.

Intercidades, Regional and Interregional

30% off return journeys from 12 September to 14 September 2026, on regular scheduled services to Lisbon. Please present proof of registration for the event when purchasing your ticket and during the journey when staff check tickets.

The discount is not valid in conjunction with other discounts or offers.

You may change tickets during the period the discount is valid, and you may request refunds in accordance with the terms and conditions in force.

Lisbon Urban Trains

Participants can travel free of charge on the Cascais line on the day of the event until 4:00 p.m. by presenting their race number.

Intercidades, Regional and Interregional

You can buy tickets from CP ticket offices or on the train when boarding at stations without a ticket office. Payment on board can be made in cash.
