Our Activity
We are a company with over 160 years of history, yet we renew ourselves every day through the commitment and dedication of our more than 3,800 employees.
Whether for leisure, work, or group travel, daily or occasionally, CP transports millions of passengers every year on its trains. We are the largest land transport company operating in Portugal and one of the most representative Portuguese companies.
Contributing to national mobility and territorial cohesion, CP provides transport services through the Lisbon Urban Trains, Porto Urban Trains, Coimbra Urban Trains, Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Regional, and InterRegional services. With tourism in mind, CP also offers several programs, including the Douro and Vouga Historical Trains. Currently, the international Celta service connects the cities of Porto and Vigo in Spain.
To ensure the operation of passenger rail services, a wide range of activities is carried out daily by qualified and experienced professionals, from maintenance to operational planning and customer communication, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
