Senior Technical Vacancy – Cost Accounting – Finance Department
Location: Lisbon (with travel required to carry out the role)

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technician to join the Finance Department (DFI), to ensure the management, maintenance and development of the cost accounting model, promoting the quality of information, the efficiency of management reporting and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the management, maintenance and development of the cost accounting system, ensuring that it is aligned with management needs and legal and regulatory requirements;
- Create and maintain the cost accounting structures, cost classes, allocation criteria and allocation keys necessary for the production of reliable management information;
- Standardise the cost accounting model for CP and the other Group companies, promoting the harmonisation of criteria to enable efficient and integrated management reporting;
- Collect, consolidate and prepare the key cost accounting data required for the closing of accounts and the preparation of management reports;
- Provide advice and technical support in defining methodologies for the allocation of costs and revenues;
- Ensure the design, configuration and correct parameterisation of the management control module (SAP CO), as well as providing support to users.
Essential Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Economics or Management.
Skills
- Good user-level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) – (preferred);
- Knowledge of English – (preferred);
- Strong interpersonal skills, proactivity and the ability to work as part of a team;
- A strong sense of responsibility;
- Good work ethic and ability to meet deadlines;
- A spirit of initiative and autonomy;
- Attitudes and behaviour guided by high standards of ethics, rigour and loyalty.
