CP – Comboios de Portugal is looking for recent graduates to join the 2nd edition of CPTrainUP, a 12-month trainee programme starting in January.

How does it work?
- Duration: 12 months.
- Expected start date: 1 January 2027.
- Real-world experience: participation in activities and projects aligned with your field of study, enabling you to apply your knowledge, develop skills and contribute to the objectives of the department you are assigned to.
- Insight into railway operations: an opportunity to explore different areas and workplaces within CP, including workshops and other operational facilities, to gain a first-hand understanding of how the railway operates and the diversity of professions that contribute daily to mobility in Portugal.
- Close mentoring: ongoing support from a mentor, who will guide your integration and progress throughout the programme.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people to shape the future of the railway in Portugal. Our ideal candidates:
- Master’s students or recent graduates with up to two years of professional experience.
- An academic background in Management, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Law.
- Proactive, collaborative, with a critical mind and a willingness to learn.
